The National Theatre School library is private, but the public can subscribe for a yearly fee. Only subscribing members are allowed to visit and use the library’s services.

The library has over 800 members from various horizons: theatre, television, film, circus, and dance practitioners; audition candidates; theatre students from other institutions; teachers and theatre-lovers. Most theatre companies in Montreal and many amateur companies are also members.

Students and NTS professors:	free
Student membership:	$30
Regular membership:	$60
Corporate membership: (valid for 2 people)	$110

Membership procedure

Memberships can be taken out in person, at the library. A proof of residency is required and students must show a valid student I.D. card to obtain the student discount.

Representatives of organizations located in distant regions are invited to communicate with the library for membership information.

Payment method: cheque or cash only.
