When asked to comment on the National Theatre School of Canada, Ann-Marie MACDONALD (Acting, 1980) - Writer and Actor - responded:
Indispensable.
The School allowed me to be whatever it is that I am; it gave me my grounding. Now, 50 years later, the National Theatre School still shows me (as a director and mentor) the cream of the crop of the young theatre world. The most skilled, confident, interesting and unique actors are still almost always found at, or just out of, the National Theatre School.
Martha HENRY, C.C. (Acting, 1962) - Director of Stratford's Birmingham Conservatory for Classic Theatre; Stage director; film, television and stage actor
