National Theatre School of Canada Bursary Funds

Starting in their second year of study, students (with the exception of those in their first year of the School's Directing program) experiencing financial difficulties can request a bursary from the NTS. The amount of a bursary can range from $500 to $5,000 per student, per year. These bursaries are generated from the investment revenues of over 130 permanent Bursary Funds — created through private donations.

Government Loans and Bursaries

Students at the School who are Canadian citizens are generally eligible for provincial and federal government loans and bursaries.

Please note that this is not a complete list. Scholarship-seekers are strongly advised to conduct their own research to find other possible sources of financial aid.
