EVERYTHING IN THE GARDEN
DECEMBER 13 TO 17, AT THE HYDRO-QUÉBEC STUDIO (MONUMENT-NATIONAL)

In a pristine world of manicured lawns and two-car garages, a suburban housewife is offered a rare opportunity... The 2012 English graduating class of the NTS will present Everything in the Garden by Edward Albee, as its second public performance of the 2011-2012 season, after its exceptional collaboration with the French section graduating class on En français comme en anglais, it's easy to criticize last October.

Everything in the Garden is co-directed by Jennifer Tarver, currently working with actor Brian Dennehy on Krapp's Last Tape, opening at the Long Island Wharf Theatre in New Haven, CT on November 29, and choreographer Susanna Hood. This morality tale, set in 1960s suburbia, will play at the Monument-National's Hydro-Québec Studio from December 13 to 17.

2010-2011 ANNUAL REPORT ONLINE
Published every year in late October, the Annual Report is a valuable tool to help evaluate the NTS's financial situation. This year, the annual report focuses on activities and events related to the 50th anniversary celebrations of the School until fiscal year end, July 31, 2011. Inside the report, you will find reflections and analysis by CEO Simon Brault on this exceptional year, a message from the Chair of the Board of Directors, Jodi White, information on all of the School's 2011 graduates, and, naturally, the 2010-2011 financial statements.

HOMECOMING
UNTIL WE MEET AGAIN

The first NTS alumni Homecoming has come and gone. Close to 400 alumni attended the welcome home cocktail, cabaret performances, conferences and the farewell brunch. They came as far away as Australia, Switzerland, Belgium, Germany, France, California, Texas, and various other areas of North America; as well as many who came in from Canada's east and west coasts, and places in between! What a turnout – what a party – what a walk down memory lane!

A LOOK BACK AT OUR 2011 OPEN HOUSE
Each NTS Open House is different and an event in itself. On October 1, during the 15th Journées de la culture, despite the rain and the cold, over 800 visitors came to see what we do best at the NTS. The diverse activities held throughout the School were filmed and edited by Chloé Robichaud and Sarah Pellerin. Both Chloé and Sarah are 2010 INIS graduates, who along with fellow graduate Laurent Allaire, created their own production company, La Brigade 3. NTS is happy to be working with INIS grads!

Save next year's Open House date: September 29, 2012 – we look forward to seeing you!
